This guide shows you how to add the records Google Workspace needs to send and receive email on your domain. It uses our cPanel DNS Zone Editor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before you start<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– You need a Google Workspace account with admin access.<\/p>

– You need to log in to your Servikus cPanel.<\/p>

– Open the DNS Zone Editor<\/strong> in cPanel (Domains \u25b6 Zone Editor).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

1. Verify Your Domain with Google<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– In the Google Admin console, go to Setup \u25b6 Domains \u25b6 Manage domains<\/strong>.<\/p>

– Click Add a domain<\/strong> or Add a domain alias<\/strong>, then follow the steps until you see a TXT verification record.<\/p>

– Copy the Name\/Host<\/strong> and Value<\/strong> fields.<\/p>

– In cPanel Zone Editor, click Manage<\/strong> next to your domain.<\/p>

– Click + Add Record<\/strong>, choose TXT<\/strong>, and paste the details:<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

2. Add Google MX Record<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Google needs these MX records to direct your email to their servers. In cPanel, under Zone Editor, add the following MX<\/strong> records:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An SPF record helps Google prevent spammers from sending email from your domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– In Zone Editor, click + Add Record<\/strong>.<\/p>

DNS updates can take up to 48 hours, but usually apply in under an hour. You can check your records with tools like MXToolbox.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
