When you are unable to login to your Admin account at WordPress (your site got hacked or you simply forgot your password and\/or username) it could be useful to create another account with admin privileges<\/strong>. We will show you how to do that in phpMyAdmin<\/strong>.
\nFor this tutorial you will need: phpMyAdmin<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Login<\/strong> to your phpMyAdmin<\/strong> (through www.your_site\/phpmyadmin<\/strong> or via cPanel<\/strong>)
\n2. Locate your WP database<\/strong>
\n3. Go to table wp-users<\/strong>
\n4. Click Insert<\/strong>

5. Enter user_login<\/strong> (desired username), user_pass<\/strong> (desired password and choose MD5 in dropdown menu<\/strong>!) and user_email<\/strong> (your email). Click Go<\/strong>

6. Click on Browse<\/strong> and remember ID<\/strong> of your newly created user

7. Now go to table wp_usermeta<\/strong> and click on Insert<\/strong>
\n8. In first field enter user_id<\/strong> (from step 6), meta_key<\/strong> (wp_capabilities<\/strong>) and meta_value<\/strong> (a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;b:1;}<\/strong>)
\n9. In second field (below) enter user_id<\/strong> (from step 6), meta_key<\/strong> (wp_user_level<\/strong>) and meta_value<\/strong> (10<\/strong>). Click Go<\/strong>
